He made me realize that the one person you love the most is also the same one who hurts you best. Kaya ka nga sobrang nasasaktan kasi diba sobra kang affected? Affected ka kasi may AFFECTION ka para sa taong iyon. Eh di hindi ka sana nasaktan o naapektuhan kung hindi mo sobrang mahal yung tao.

With that I remember Sir Did’s lesson to us back in hs:

What is the opposite of Love? It’s not Hate. You can love, though you hate. You may hate, because you love. Therefore, they’re not opposites. The opposite of love is APATHY. Apathy worse than indifference, because when you’re apathetic towards a person, there is really no emotion whatsoever inside—just plain nothingness.

This I learned. Proof of maturity somehow. :)
